KIMS Model WHO Conference 2k17

WHO is an international organisation formed in 1948 with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland aimed at bringing about increased awareness about public health and improving standards of living worldwide.

Model United Nations is an educational simulation along the lines of the United Nations General Assembly wherein students learn about policy making, diplomacy, public speaking and writing skills. All of the above are essential in day to day practice, be it from a perspective of a doctor, engineer or allied health science graduate since these are skills required in day to day activities.

This is the 2nd time in India that an event of this magnitude is occurring with participation from 140 delegates across India…The 1st having been in October 2016 in KIMS itself.

This conference is a unique adaptation of Model UN to incorporate similar ideals into Health Sector in the form of Model WHO, which is important for future generations.
